Wine Review: This dark red colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Washington State in very good. It opens with a strawberry and red cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a mild oak and cherry blend with notes of plum and minerality. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are nicely extended. This Cab would pair nicely with a New York strip steak. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This fragrant wine begins with alluring aromas of blackberry, plum and mountain huckleberry intermingled with brighter notes of Bing cherry and ripe wild strawberry. As it evolves in the glass, layers of anise and sarsaparilla are revealed, alongside hints of caramel and espresso from barrel aging. On the palate, the entry is supple, weighty and rounded, with deliciously ripe tannins and juicy acidity coming together to create a classically structured Cabernet.
