Wine Review: This light straw colored Spanish white wine is a steal and consistently very good every year. It opens with a pleasant mild peach and Anjou pear like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied, nicely balanced and very easy to drink. The flavor profile is a very tasty mild mineral infused Anjou pear and Granny Smith apple blend. I also detected a touch of pineapple. This is a perfect summer quaffer. Serve it slightly chilled. No food is necessary. That said, it would go well with many foods. Broiled scallops and chicken lo-mein came to mind first. Buy this wine by the case and watch your friends smile. Enjoy - Ken
