Wine Review: This pale garnet colored Pinot Noir opens with a gentle black cherry and black raspberry bouquet with notes of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, balanced, smooth, rich and quite juicy. The flavor profile is black plum and oak blend with notes of nicely integrate minerality. We also detected some hints of black raspberry, black tea and chocolate mixed in. It has lots of complex layers. The finish is dry and its flavors, acidity and dusty tannins stick around for quite some time. The Panel would pair this very well-made Pinot with a cowboy cut prime rib. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: On the nose, inviting aromas of jasmine, yellow plum and cherry hard candy beckon a first sip. As the wine unfurls on the palate, the flavors grow deeper and more complex, offering layers of dark cherry, cola and black licorice that glide across soft, round tannins to a lush, lingering finish.
