Wine Review: This mellow Cabernet from Washington State is slightly opaque and very dark ruby colored. It opens with a mild black cherry, dark chocolate, and old oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, smooth, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry with hints of black cherry and faint oak. The finish is dry and its sticky tannins build up, but settle nicely. The panel suggested pairing this friendly Cab with a meat lasagna or a veal chop. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Deep red-ruby hue. Aromas of cherry, mountain berries, currants and dark chocolate truffle initially on the nose, opening to a broad spectrum of cherry, raspberry, dark plum, and red currant with hints of bay leaf. Supple texture, with harmonious, elegant and nicely integrated oak. Mineral notes fuse to the finish, with earthy flavors and silty tannins drawing towards a long and savory close.
