Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from CIRQ opens with an inviting R.C. Cola and cherry bouquet with hints of cigar box and teaberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, super smooth, seamless, and fresh. The flavor profile is a savory blend of black cherry and black raspberry with notes of sauteed mushrooms and cardamom. I also detected hints of cinnamon and a touch of clove. The finish is dry, and its well-managed acidity, fine tannins, and flavors drift away nicely. I would pair this excellent Pinot with pan-seared duck breasts in a pinot wine sauce. Enjoy - Ken
