Wine Review: This golden colored Chardonnay from the Russian River Valley opens with a honey and lemon bouquet with hints of green apple, light oak, and pineapple. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The flavor profile is toasted coconut and pineapple blend with notes of golden delicious apple and gentle oak. I also detected hints crème brulee, orange zest, and hazelnut. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity stick around for a while. I would pair this Chard with trout piccata. Enjoy – Ken
