Wine Review: There is not much of this tasty Pinot. But if you call the winery soon, you can probably get some. It is dark ruby colored and opens with an oak influenced blackberry and spicy black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this Pinot is full bodied, balanced, very smooth, and rich. The flavor profile is a dusty oak influenced black raspberry and black cherry blend with a hint of herbal tea. The finish is dry and its sticky tannins show very nice length. This is a very young and firm Pinot with lots of flavor. In the short run, pair it with barbecue steak tips. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A light, fruity bouquet of cherry, blueberry and plum finds grounding in notes of warm plum and sandalwood. On the palate its beautifully structured and heady with chalky tannins born from the rich minerals of the Middle Reach soil. Ripe strawberry and pomegranate add volume and depth.
