Wine Review: This bright and clean unoaked Chardonnay from the Finger Lakes region of NY is a white gold colored. It opens with aromas of white peach, Honeycrisp apple, and mild grapefruit with hints of beeswax and lily. Gentle on the palate, it is slightly off-dry, racy, and medium bodied with medium-plus acidity. I detected flavors of tangy white peach, steely minerality, ripe red apple, and lemon. The finish is refreshing, slightly tart, and moderate in length. Serve with fried clams. - Mark
