Wine Review: This wine is yellow with golden hues. The nose is like perfume, with hints of daisies, slightest touch of caramelized honey, and Bartlett pear. Lo Spudorato is rich, with depth and body, there seems to be a touch of wood, but it could be skin contact. Even though Lo Spudorato has waves of flavors like tangerines, clementines, starfruit, and Asian pear it lacks bubbles on the palate. The bubbles are almost non-existent leaving this sparkler feeling a bit heavy. With a few tweaks this could be a superstar bottling. - Nicolay
Winemaker Notes: Straw-yellow color with a gold shimmer. Fine and persistent perlage. Intense aromas, rich notes of flowers and tropical fruit, especially mango and pineapple. Good structure and acidity. Round in the mouth, savory and balanced. Ideal as an aperitif. This wine pairs well with appetizers and crudites, delicate first courses and grilled white meat and fish. Serve chilled at 6 degrees Celsius (43 degrees Fahrenheit).
