Wine Review: In the glass, this wine is a sparkling ruby red colored Pinot Noir has a nose of pine needle forest floor, raspberry, cherry and light oak. It is a simple wine, medium bodied with mild tannins. On the palate, are flavors of ripe fruits, dark plum, currant, spice, coffee, light oak and herbs with an earthy undertone. The lingering finish has a slightly bitter dark berry flavor. Enjoy a pulled pork sandwich with this good value Pinot. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: Our Bridlewood Monterey County Pinot Noir opens with aromas of dark berry, caramel and vanilla. The palate is an elegant expression of Monterey County, offering notes of raspberry, black cherry and subtle oak notes. With each sip, silky tannins and a firm acidity build a smooth texture and long finish.
