Wine Review: This light yellow colored white blend from Cotes du Rhone opens with a mild green apple bouquet with a hint of pear. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, smooth, and creamy. The flavor profile is a tasty Anjou pear with notes of white pepper and light oak. The finish is dry and lingers slightly. I would serve this very food friendly wine cool to display its maximum potential. It would pair perfectly with pan seared scallops. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Sparkling golden colour heightened by flecks of silver. Cairanne Blanc reveals scents of white fruit (peach, pear), exotic fruit (mango) and a touch of aniseed. Harmonious and with a fine, tight finish, this wine offers a rich and generous flavour – a typical white from the South. A perfect wine to serve at aperitif-time.
