Wine Review: This very affordable bright strawberry colored wine opens with a mild cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is a mineral infused spicy strawberry. The finish is dry and subtle. This easy to drink wine is very refreshing. It would be a good option on a hot summer day. Pair it with pork chops. Cheers - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2008 Big House Pink bathes in its Mediterranean roots in 2008. This is a dry rose, the kind that is virtually ubiquitous in the South of France during the summer. It has a nice floral bouquet and is somewhat reminiscent of fresh strawberries, ripe red fruits, and even a touch of rhubarb. The mouth is rich and round enough to stand up to spicy rubs or even barbecued meats. It has a nice smooth finish, not overbearing but quenching. The Big House Rose will pair exquisitely with grilled meats and vegetables. It’s time to rethink the PINK! - Georgetta Dane, Winemaker
