Wine Review: This Chardonnay from Beringer is a rich golden yellow color. On the nose, it provides aromas of pineapple, gala apple and honeydew melon. On the palate, it is full bodied and viscous with flavors of buttered popcorn, oak, apple and melon. This is a rich and luscious Chard and an oak and butter lover’s dream. The finish provides slightly sweet flavors that fade away nicely. We would drink this Chard on its own or with grilled pesto pizza with artichokes and prosciutto. – Karen & Stuart
