Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Beringer was well-liked by all that tried it. It opens with a mild cassis and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is tasty black currant with notes of red plum, vanilla, oak, and grainy minerality. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins build-up nicely. It’s flavors also show very nice length. This very good Cab from Beringer is food friendly and would pair well with a filet mignon. Enjoy - Ken
