Wine Review: This bright straw-colored Chardonnay from Benovia opens with a butter, almond, lemon and Bartlett pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with nice integrated acidity. The flavor profile is a lemon, toasted oak and coconut blend with hints of almond, nutmeg and apricot. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. I would pair this Chard with lemon trout almondine. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Intense aromas of lemon, guava and tropical notes are accentuated by light toast and honey. Aromas vibrantly harmonize with an opulent texture, crème brulee and layered flavors of poached pear and Fuji apple on the palate which are lifted by a refreshingly mineral-laden finish.
