Wine Review: This yellow colored Chardonnay from the Russian River opens with a fragrant and attractive mild oak and pear bouquet with a hint of pineapple. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, balanced, and approachable. The flavor profile is a pleasant apple and gentle oak blend with notes of butter. I also detected a hint of pear and lemon verbena in the end. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Chard will be a real crowd pleaser. It will be enjoyed by all. I would pair it with shrimp scampi. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This 2013 Russian River Valley Chardonnay is bursting with aromas of citrus blossoms, nectarine and spice baked pears. The multifaceted aromas and dense mouth feel are knit together by centered acidity and a long-complex candied apricot finish.
