Wine Review: This dark pink colored Rose from Benovia is very good. It opens with a faint red cherry and strawberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, and very smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty mild tangerine with hints of red raspberry. I also detected some gentle minerality and spice. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. This wine is very food friendly and would pair well with grilled mahi-mahi. Serve it chilled on the beach as well this summer. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine is a delightful accompaniment to a light summer lunch, a leisurely picnic or a laid-back summer evening. This Rose has vibrant cranberry and late-summer watermelon aromas, echoing flavors, all supported by bright acidity and a tart cherry like finish.
