Wine Review: This pale garnet colored Pinot Noir opens with gentle pomegranate and mild red raspberry bouquet with hints of cherry, cedar, and cola. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is smooth and savory. The flavor profile is black cherry and mild stony minerality. Notes of red plum and cinnamon. Hints of RC Cola, anise. and black pepper. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins and flavors linger for a while. The Panel would pair this Pinot with a smoked pork chop or duck sausages and by the firepit on a cool night. Enjoy – KWGTP (Note: Price includes tax & shipping)
Winemaker Notes: This wine presents a very pretty red burlap cherry dress with pretty violin reflections. We discover a very elegant nose on aromas of strawberries and crushed rhubarb pie associated with sweet spices, curries, and cumin. The mouth is very creamy, full of sweetness where we discover aromas of red fruit sabayon combined with cherry licorice and black licorice. Very nice length is very nice minerality. Pair with rib of beef grilled with wild herbs or duck breast with red fruits.
