Wine Review: This translucent and pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand opens with a fragrant yellow grapefruit and cut hay bouquet with hints of lime and ginger. The mouthfeel is round, bright, and zesty. The flavor profile is a tart yellow grapefruit, chalky minerality and lemon blend with notes of white pepper. I also detected a hint of quince and ginger. The finish is dry and refreshing. I would serve this Sauvignon Blanc chilled on a hot day. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Softly perfumed with green apple, gooseberry, lime, and mandarin. Touch of nectarine. Juicy and mouth-filling on entry with sweet herbals, citrus and black currant. Vibrant and fresh with lime and mineral lingering on the finish. Exceptional partner to seafood - especially oysters!
