Wine Review: This yellow colored Riesling from Phalz in Germany opens with pear like bouquet with a hint of peach in the background. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, semi-dry, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tart green apple and pear blend with notes of clementine, ginger and minerality. The finish remains semi-dry while its flavors and acidity are nicely prolonged. This Riesling would pair well with quiche Lorraine. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our everyday sipping wine is fruity, mineraly and well balanced. Typical flavours of ripe fruits, aromatic apples and peaches. Well-structured and delightful as well. In the mouth, the interaction of mouthwatering fruits and minerals are positively shimmering – very delicate and refreshing on the palate. Easy to drink, ideal with light fish, salads and poultry dishes. Cheers!
