Wine Review: This red colored Pinot Noir from Au Bon Climat opens with a red cherry and grenadine bouquet with hints of muddled mint, turned earth, and baking spice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and silky. The flavor profile is red licorice and red cherry blend with notes of sage and clove. We also detected hints of red plum, black pepper, black tea, and oak. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and well managed fine-grained tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this Pinot Noir with sautéed duck breasts with wild mushrooms or with a charcuterie board. Enjoy - Ken, Dave, & Mark

Winemaker Notes: Aromas of cranberry, pomegranate, sagebrush, and wild mushrooms lead the way. On the palate, a rounded body evolves into flavors of berries and cream for a for a pronounced finish.
