Wine Review: This midnight blue colored Tempranillo from Artadi opens with a mild boysenberry bouquet with a hint of plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and very approachable. The flavor profile is a mineral infused plum with notes of old oak. I also detected a hint of espresso and black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate dusty tannins are very sticky. This Tempranillo would pair well with juicy burgers. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A wine that clearly demonstrates the approachability, quality and balance of a modern Rioja wine, the Artadi Tempranillo is clean and elegant with vibrant red fruit and subtle tannins. Made to enjoy soon after release, this consumer-friendly wine is gratifying, accessible and agreeable.
