Wine Review: This dark coral colored Sparkling Wine from Argyle opens with lots of very tiny streaming bubbles. The bouquet features aromas of strawberry and tangerine with hints of pineapple and wet stone. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright, fresh, and frothy. The flavor profile is a stony minerality and red raspberry tea blend with notes of almond and green apple. We also detected hints of blood orange. The finish is dry and refreshing. The Tasting Panel would pair this Sparkler with broiled scallops. Enjoy - KWGTP
