Wine Review: This pitch-black colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with anise and black currant bouquet with hints of black raspberry, cola, chocolate, and wet slate. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is very well-balanced, smooth, and silky. The flavor profile is a tasty blend of extracted black currant and black tea with notes black cherry. We also picked up some hints of dark chocolate, oak, and black pepper. The finish is dry, and its well-managed moderate refined tannins are nicely prolonged. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab with a porterhouse steak or with a German chocolate cake. Enjoy – KWGTP
