Wine Review: This pale straw colored blend from Cotes du Rhone opens with a ripe Bosc pear and Granny Smith bouquet with hints of pilsner beer and wet stone. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic, round and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mineral infused pilsner beer with notes of Bosc pear. I also detected hints of pineapple, herbal tea and a touch of lime. The finish is dry and subtlety fades away nicely. This wine is food friendly and would pair nicely Emeril's crab cakes. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The cuvee is characterized by hints of floral and exotic fruits. The 2015 vintage, with exceptional weather conditions, helped each grape of the blend to fully express itself. Roussanne, Clairette and Grenache Blanc are perfectly balanced to offer an elegant and complex wine that will deliver happiness in every occasion. Food Pairing: Fish and white meat.
