Wine Review: This ruby colored Zinfandel from Anarchy opens with a black licorice and stewed plum bouquet with hints of black raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, zesty, and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a marionberry and red licorice blend with notes of clove and black coffee. We also detected hints of oolong tea, stony minerality, and cinnamon. The finish is dry, and its acidity, flavors, and mild tannins drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Zin with a Chinese pork ribs. (Only sold in magnums) Enjoy – KWGTP
