Wine Review: This ruby colored red wine from Italy is an unusual blend of grapes. It opens with a raspberry and pomegranate bouquet with hints of new leather and cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, fresh, and bright. The flavor profile is a pomegranate and raspberry blend with notes of cedar and dried cherries. I also detected hints of stone dust, saline, cedar, and a touch of rhubarb. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and very fine tannins drift away nicely. This wine would pair well charcuterie platter. Especially with cured meats. Enjoy - Ken
