Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Malbec based wine opens with a mild blackberry bouquet with hints of black licorice, black olive, and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The flavor profile is a black plum and gentle blackberry blend with notes of black tea and stony minerality. I also detected hints of oak and black olive in the aftertaste. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins, flavors, and acidity stick around for quite a while. I would pair this wine with beef bourguignon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Bright with a deep and penetrating ruby color. Aromas of red and black fruits with floral and spicy notes, typical of the region and soft vanilla notes, coming from its time in the barrel. On the palate, it is concentrated, complex and elegant, with fruity and round tannins, a long and delicate finish supported by the freshness of the blend. Pair with cheese boards, pasta, and grilled meats.
