Wine Review: This pale gold colored blend of Torrontes and Riesling is very good. It opens with a bouquet is filled with notes of melon, cantaloupe rind and white peach. We found it to be light bodied, with refreshing, well-balanced acidity. The flavor profile was a white peach and lemon blend with a hint of minerality on the finish. This very enjoyable wine is an excellent value and will make for a super summer sipper for the porch relaxing with friends. It can also accompany a dinner of seared scallops over a bed of shredded sautéed Brussel sprouts, ceviche or gazpacho.
Winemaker Notes: Shiny gold very lipid in color. Citrus notes of grapefruit and lemon skins dominate the nose. On the palate, it is delicate and silky yet fresh and crisp. It also has good acidity and a distinctive mineral note.
