Wine Review: Wow! This golden yellow colored Chardonnay from Alpha Omega is Excellent! It opens with a fragrant and attractive pear and lemon verbena bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced, creamy and voluptuous. The flavor profile is a tasty golden delicious apple with notes of oak and lemon and hints of butterscotch and pineapple in the background. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This a special occasion Chardonnay to share with someone really special who loves California Chardonnay. Pair it lobster bisque. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Color: beautiful grey gold with touches of green apple. On the Nose: explosion of brioche, pear, peaches and beeswax with touches of granite, cedar, honeydew and soap. On the Palate: fresh citrus entrance evolving on orange peel and Meyer lemon with hints of creme brulee lingering on bubblegum, pineapple and tangerine.
