Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Oregon opens with a pomegranate and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, delicate and approachable. The flavor profile is a tasty mild mineral influenced plum with notes of green tea and herbs. I also detected a hint of cherry. The finish is dry and its very fine tannins and flavors fade away nicely. This Pinot is very food friendly and would pair well with many foods. I would pair it with a grilled pork chop. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine reveals an intense perfume of fresh cherries and raspberries, with a spring flower bouquet, and notes of cinnamon, clove, and cola. Medium to full bodied, ruby in color, with fine, silky texture, pleasurable persistence, and mouth-watering acidity, that provides tension. This wine has a long finish that lingers with fresh raspberries, rose petals, baking spices, and mineral notes.
