Wine Review: This pleasant crisp pale straw colored Chardonnay from Alamos is medium bodied and has a light bouquet of apricots, citrus, oak, honey and minerality. The light bouquet carries through to the palate and includes apricots, lemon, oak and nice acidity with a dry slightly tart finish. The nice balance and easy going structure allows for a food friendly Chardonnay. This wine, from Argentina, would go well with any light or white sauced pasta dish such as Alfredo sauce with linguine. - Joe
Winemaker Notes: Alamos Chardonnay displays aromatics of oak, brown spice and butterscotch flavors. On the palate, this wine offers flavors of ripe apple and stone fruit, with layers of tropical characteristics. A full mouthfeel and lingering finish round out this beautifully balanced Chardonnay.
