Wine Review: This pale gold colored Chardonnay opens with a very appealing nose with lush notes of melon and bright hints of lemon and flint. On the palate, it is light to medium bodied. Silky smooth and creamy. The flavor profile displays notes of light oak and vanilla with a hint of pineapple and pear. It is a pleasant and drinkable Chard that is well balanced and round. We would pair it with baked scrod - Stuart and Karen
Winemaker Notes: Personally, I strive to create balanced Chardonnays that are juicy and fruit-forward, with bright acidity and levels of depth and nuance. Subtlety is key for a well-made Chardonnay – a challenge I relish, says winemaker Linda Trotta. This full-bodied and refreshing Chardonnay has hints of tropical fruit aromas, honeycomb, stone fruit and well-integrated oak. Balanced and rich on the palate, it is inviting and complex. The bright acidity makes it a delicious and food-friendly wine.
