Wine Review: This slightly cloudy dark red colored Pinot Noir from Adler Fels will be a crowd pleaser. It opens with a medium red raspberry bouquet with hints of pomegranate and light oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and very approachable. The flavor profile is a nice combination of red fruits including the aforementioned raspberry and pomegranate peeking thru along with some red plum, cranberry and minerality. It closes with a nice dry finish. This Pinot would pair well with a tangy pulled pork sandwich. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This Pinot Noir has a complex nose with notes of black olive, earthiness, cranberry and Bing cherry that invite you in. The entry carries the fruit and earth notes along with an echo of black olive, a hint of white pepper, and a slight caramel oak flavor. Pair with grilled Portobello mushrooms with garlic and baked brie.
