Wine Review: A group of us recently enjoyed this wine at an anniversary party. This almost black wine opens with a blackberry bouquet and exhibits definitive black olive aromas as well. In the mouth, this medium bodied wine is round, has forward, and lively spicy red current like flavors that are influenced by some oak. The finish is dry and lingers a bit before fading. This is a fun wine that would pair nicely with a big juicy burger. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: "This is a lush and fleshy Merlot loaded with jammy, blackberry flavors that are characteristic of warm climate Wahluke Slope fruit. The 2003 Indian Wells Merlot is a fruit driven, New World style wine."
