Wine Review: This rich golden yellow dessert wine made from 100% Chardonnay opens with an attractive apricot marmalade like bouquet. On the palate, this dessert wine is full bodied, quite smooth, and creamy. The flavor profile is a very sweet apricot. The finish is refreshing, sweet, and subtle. This wine would be a nice refreshing finishing wine to pair with aged gruyere. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Bouche d’Or, which translates to "Taste of Gold" to some and "Gold Lips" to others, refers to the rich amber color and luscious, sweet essence of this wine and its honey-apricot fragrance. The resulting wine, recalls to mind honeyed apricots and ripe figs, yet is delicate in weight and smooth in texture. It is the definition of decadence!
