Wine Review: This wine was my favorite wine from a blind tasting of Sancerre’s that I recently attended. This pale yellow colored offering opens with a very ripe and appealing pear like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, smooth, elegant, and very nicely balanced. Its flavor profile was a very tasty ripe peach like flavor with notes of green apple on the back palate. The finish is quite dry and lasts for quite some time. Although this wine does not closely resemble the tradition Sancerre style, it was a terrific wine. I personally would enjoy it on is own.
