Wine Review: This offering from Mastroberadino will truly appeal to fans of Old World styled wines. This dark ruby colored wine open with an oak influenced cherry bouquet with a hint of menthol. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and easy to drink with no hard edges. The flavor profile is slightly tart black cherry flavors with nicely integrated oak influences. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are nicely prolonged. This wine would pair nicely with beef bourguignon or veal medallions in a brown mushroom sauce. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Intense ruby red. Persistent hints of amarena and wild blackberry, with delightful toasted flavours. Soft and elegant, with suggestions of berries and strawberry jam. Outstanding with meat or tomato-based broths and soups; with red or white meat, roast or with sauces; with cheeses.
