Wine Review: This is not your traditional Sangiovese and the wines name gives it away. This powerful wine opens with an inviting bouquet that reminds me of a fine Amarone. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, smooth, and silky with very spicy black raspberry flavors. The finish is quite dry and its noticeable bold tannins linger for quite some time. This is a wine that wine last quite some time in your cellar. If you can’t resist, enjoy it with a hearty beef stew. Cheers - Ken
