Wine Review: Here is a Chard that would appeal to New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc fans. This yellow wine opens with an inviting lemon and pineapple like bouquet with a hint of coconut. On the palate, this light to medium bodied wine is crisp with lively acidity. It displays citrus like flavors lead by light grapefruit and a touch of light oak. The finish is dry and quite refreshing. This is a nice non traditional Chardonnay that would pair nicely with cream sauced based meals as its acidity would cut through them nicely. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Intense golden yellow. Aroma Fresh floral and tropical fruit aromas mingle with mineral and citrus accents. Flavour Pineapple, nectarine, melon and banana resonate in this elegant Chardonnay with freshness and a bright finish.
