Wine Review: This fun wine from Kunin is made from grapes that make up the classic wines from Chateaueuf de Pape. Kunin’s version of this famous blend hails from the Larner, Alisos, Paradise Road, Derby Vineyards in California’s Central Coast. It is bright cherry in color and opens with a fruity cherry like aroma. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is soft and balanced with juicy raspberry like flavors. The finish is dry with mild tannins that linger slightly. Enjoy this wine this fall with Memphis styled ribs. Cheers - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Cherries and strawberries on the nose, with some smoke/spice notes. High-toned red fruits and spices on palate, with an underlying earthy note. Bright acidity and light tannins. Finishes cleanly and with finesse.
