Wine Review: Our tasting panel welcomed this Merlot from Childress to the recommended circle at our recent blind tasting. This bright ruby red blend of mostly Merlot opens with a mild raspberry bouquet with hints of earth and pepper. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is smooth, slightly acidic, with a spicy raspberry flavor profile. There are notes of dark chocolate and pepper as well. The finish is quite dry and subtle. The panel placed this wine with blackened meats. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Black cherries and cassis with shades of chocolate and coffee in this appropriately tannic, well made wine.
