Wine Review: Finding a Very Good value Pinot Noir these days is no easy choir, but this option from Picard fits that profile. This dark ruby wine opens with a pleasant spicy cherry like bouquet. On the palate, this light to medium bodied wine is round, juicy, and has tasty cherry flavors. The finish is dry, shows moderate tannins, and lingers for a bit. This is a very nice affordable everyday Pinot Noir from a Very Good vintage in France. This wine would pair nicely with many foods. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: COLOR: Intense garnet color with crimson tints. NOSE: Red fruit jam and sweet spices aromas with light woody tinges MOUTH: The tannins are supple and elegant The fruity and spicy flavors are present and persistant Very harmonious overall impression.
