Wine Review: This offering from Landmark was our favorite from the portfolio show at the Boston Wine Expo. This wine opens with a pleasant apple like aroma with a touch of vanilla and a hint of grapefruit. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is creamy, well balanced with no hard edges, and has very pleasant green apple like flavors with hints of lemon. The finish is dry and lingers nicely for a little while. We felt this was a very nice food wine that would pair nicely with pork tenderloin and chicken and broccoli with a rich cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The aromas of toasted almonds, caramel and coconut are followed by crisp green apple and lemon rind flavors that convey certain minerality. This wine will pair well with seafoods and shellfish, and complement pastas with cream sauces, as well as roast chicken and pork roast with fruit.
