Wine Review: We are always looking for a nice every day cheese and cracker wine. The light yellow demi-sec offering from Picard fits that profile. This wine opens with a wonderfully aromatic bouquet. On the palate, the wine is round, viscous, slightly sweet, and has wonderful peach like flavors. The finish is refreshing and tasty. As mentioned this wine would pair nicely with cheddar cheese and compliment a light fish dish. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: COLOR: Brilliant pale yellow color with lime tints NOSE: Brioche aromas with flinty tinges, completed by apricot and peach hints as well as rose. MOUTH: Chenin blanc brings freshness to the mouthfeel as medium sweet wines, palate is very round and dominated by crystallised fruit flavors with a very good length.
