Wine Review: You can see why chefs and restaurants like Grüner Veltliner. It is very food friendly. This light yellow wine opens with a mild bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is well balanced, smooth, and displays some minerality and light lime like flavors. The finish is dry and fades slowly. This wine would pair really nicely with seared scallops. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Yellow apple and citrus fruit mingle with floral and herbal character on the nose, while the palate displays more zingy green apple, mineral, and Gruner's typical white pepper spice. Serve chilled on a hot day and have a second bottle ready to go because the first one will disappear quickly and leave you wanting more.
