Wine Review: This dark purple wine opens with a musty ripe plum like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is initially vibrant and has lively acidity. But it rounds out with air so decant it. As a result the wine does not have any hard edges and expresses its blackberry and dusty cocoa flavors. The finish is dry, clean, and relatively brief. This wine will pair nicely with anything smothered in a tangy barbeque sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: 2005 is showing juicy and accessible red cherry fruit from its early stages, with just a hint of underlying oak from reconditioned barrels.
