Wine Review: This dark purple wine opens with a pleasant black current bouquet. On the palate, this medium to full bodied wine is smooth and very forward and juicy. It has lush blackberry and blueberry like flavors. The finish is very dry and quite extended. This wine will do very well on its own and also would do well with a NY strip steak. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dark black. The nose shows lifted notes of spice, followed by an amalgam of fresh espresso, rich chocolate, dark cherries and freshly roasted almonds. The mouthfeel is long, dense, and coating with luscious liquorice, mocha, spice and blackberry flavours. With more fruit weight and tannin than previous vintages, this is a lot of fun to drink now but will age nicely.
