Wine Review: This wine was the winner of a mini South African Chenin Blanc tasting we did on the Fourth of July. This wine opens with a touch of oak on the nose. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is lively, quite vibrant, and refreshing. The flavor profile of this wine is pear. This wine is an ideal wine to match with seafood or grilled fish. The finish is dry and has a little more length than the others in the tasting. Serve this wine slightly chilled. Enjoy this savory wine. - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Pale yellow in colour with a hint of green. On the nose, tinned pineapples, guavas, litchi, lemon and lime aromas are abundant. A clean, lively wine with nuances of nutmeg and cloves. Well-balanced and elegant, but with weight and a powerful follow-through on the palate. Stylistically off-dry and lightly oaked this is an excellent food wine.
