Winemaker Notes: Sourced from The Glenrose Vineyard – a forbidding site of steep rock faces and limestone outcroppings – this aromatic and complex wine is the way of the future for Adelaida. At 1,800 feet of elevation, Don Rose’s mountain planting produces ridiculously low yields that express vivid flavors of smoky kirsch liqueur with notes of briar patch, roasted venison and herbs de Provence. After pinot noir, assembling this dynamic blend is our winemaker’s most rewarding artistic expression. We ALL love it! Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
